Who we are

Penda Senior Home Care is a Home Care Organization licensed by the California Department of Social Services, licence number 374700397. We provide non-medical home care. We are not a medical provider, a home health agency, or a placement service.

Everything here is general information to help families work out what kind of help they need. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor, an attorney, or a financial adviser about your situation.

Rates, availability, and the service agreement

  • Rates shown on this site are a starting point. Your rate depends on the care needed and the schedule, and it is set out in your written service agreement.
  • Contacting us does not create a care arrangement. Care begins when both sides have signed a service agreement.
  • Where that agreement and this website disagree, the agreement governs.
  • Availability is not guaranteed. Whether we can staff a request depends on the schedule, the care needed, and where you are.
  • The areas listed on this site are where we usually work. We may decline work we cannot staff safely.

Links and listed organisations

Our resources page lists local programmes and nonprofits as a convenience. We don’t run them, we don’t get paid for listing them, and we can’t vouch for what they do or keep their details permanently current. The same applies to any other site we link to.

Using this site

The text, images, and design here belong to us. You’re welcome to link to any page, print pages for your own use, and quote us with credit. Don’t copy the content wholesale for another business, scrape the site, or try to interfere with it.

Please don’t submit other people’s personal information through our form unless you have their permission or you are acting on their behalf.
